Electronics and developer company Pure have released information on their latest product, the Siesta Flow, which they claim is the “world’s first beside internet radio.” Hosting a huge variety of functions and extra features, the Siesta Flow integrates the standard alarm clock with an immensely wide range of internet radio stations to bring that extra something to getting out of bed.

Whilst their claim that the Siesta Flow is “the world’s first internet connected bedside radio,” isn’t entirely correct, Pure’s latest gadget has integrated radio and alarm settings, allowing for an entire host of music to be accessed whilst remaining a functional alarm clock. With the normal radio service that you’d expect to see within a Pure radio, features such as DAB+, DAB, and FM, their online portal called the Pure Lounge can also provide the user with 365 alarm tones. Connecting to Wi-Fi networks with the ease of simply the device on whereupon it’ll search for all local connections, music collections can be expanded, podcasts listened too, and recommended content visited. In addition, if individuals use a computer network within their home, the Siesta Flow can wirelessly play music stored on a computer elsewhere in the house.

Reportedly available before this Christmas for the price of £99.99, additional features include touch sensitive controls, sleep and snooze timers, auto dimming display, four quick-set alarms, auxiliary input for iPods and 30 preset DAB/FM stations.
